Before clicking the “Apply” button, you might have several questions on your mind. In this lesson, we have consolidated the frequently asked questions for you.

Can a fresh grad apply for a  remote job?

Most of the positions that we offer require at least 3 years of full-time work experience. As of the moment, we do not consider anyone with less than 3 years of experience.

 

Do I need to have work experience to be qualified?

Yes, at least 3 years of work experience is needed.

 

Are there no entry level positions for newly graduates?

None, as of the moment. Entry-level positions in Remote Staff requires at least 1 to 2 years of work experience.

 

Should I be a college graduate to be qualified for a job?

Not necessarily, the majority of our openings do not require a college degree but instead focuses on the work experience and what you can offer to the client/company.

 

Should my work experience be related to my target job to be considered?

No. If your current skills and competencies are relevant to the position you are applying for, you will be considered for a role you have never done before.  A lot of skills are transferable throughout different positions. Someone who has done Customer Support can do General Virtual Assistant, Data Entry, Chat Support, etc. 

 

I want to try another role. But my work experience and education do not match those in the job posting, but I have the necessary skills. Do I have a chance to get hired?

Yes. You will be considered for the role as long as you possess the skills necessary for the role you are applying for.

 

Can I choose any remote job? Or is it RS that will match my qualifications to a job available?

You are free to apply for any available positions. Remote Staff will assess your application based on the requirements of the role you are applying for.

 

Can I apply for multiple roles ?

Yes, you can.

 

If I am not qualified for the position I applied for, can I apply for another one?

Yes, as long as you are qualified for the position you are applying for. 

Will I receive a notification informing me why I am not qualified for the job?

Yes, you will. You will receive an email regarding the update of your application

 

What technical requirements do I need to prepare in order to get qualified?

Laptop or Desktop (i3 processor, Windows 7/8/10 OS, 4G RAM)

Working headset and webcam

Conducive private room; no background noise such as children, vehicles and/or any pets

 

Am I an employee of Remote Staff? What is my employment status?

You will not be an employee of Remote Staff. You will be hired as a remote contractor.

 

Can I work with Remote Staff on top of my current job ?

We value effective work. We believe that working for our clients while you are currently working for another at the same time is not sustainable because your time and energy are finite. 

We only accept contractors who can commit to scheduled work a minimum of 4 hours a day 5 days a week (part-time), and 8 hours a day 5 days a week (full-time).

 

Will I have the chance to review the profile of my would-be client?

Yes, we will provide you with information about the client, but you cannot connect with them directly.

 

Can I decline a job offer from a client?

Yes, you can.

 

If I want to resign, what is the process?

If you wish to resign from your position, you are required to render 15 business days to turn over all necessary documents/equipment to the client, and if required to train the remote worker that will be replacing you.

 

What will I receive if I resign?

Once you resign, you will only receive the payment for the remaining hours that you have worked with the client

 

Can I obtain a certificate of employment from Remote Staff?

Remote Staff does not provide Certificate of Employment, but instead, we will be providing you a Certificate of Contract proving that you have worked for our clients.
